Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of services by Nawab Glass Company ("we", "our", or "us") to clients ("you" or "client"). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any project.

Scope of Services

Nawab Glass Company provides the following services in Dubai and surrounding areas:

  • Glass and Aluminium installations (facades, windows, doors, partitions)
  • Carpentry and Joinery services (custom woodwork, cabinetry, furniture)
  • Interior Painting (residential and commercial)
  • Floor and Wall Tiling (ceramic, porcelain, natural stone)

Each project scope will be defined in a separate written quotation or service agreement. Any services not explicitly included in the quotation are not covered under these Terms unless mutually agreed in writing.

Quotations & Pricing

All quotations provided by Nawab Glass Company are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated. Quotations are based on the information provided at the time of assessment and may be subject to adjustment if:

  • The scope of work changes or expands beyond the original specification
  • Unforeseen site conditions or complications arise
  • Material costs increase significantly due to market fluctuations
  • Client requests modifications or upgrades to materials or finishes

Any changes to pricing will be communicated and approved by the client before proceeding with additional work.

Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed, our standard payment terms are as follows:

  • Deposit: 30-50% of the total project cost is due upon acceptance of the quotation to secure materials and schedule work
  • Progress Payment: For larger projects, an additional payment may be required at the midpoint of the project
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon project completion and client sign-off

Payment can be made via bank transfer, cash, or other mutually agreed methods. Late payments may result in project delays or suspension of work until payment is received.

Project Timelines

We provide estimated timelines for each project based on our assessment of scope and complexity. While we make every effort to adhere to agreed timelines, delays may occur due to:

  • Weather conditions or other force majeure events
  • Delays in material delivery from suppliers
  • Changes to project scope requested by the client
  • Unforeseen site conditions requiring additional work
  • Delays in obtaining necessary permits or approvals

We will communicate any anticipated delays as soon as they become known and work with you to minimize impact.

Client Responsibilities

To ensure smooth project execution, clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate project information and requirements
  • Ensuring site access for our team and equipment during working hours
  • Obtaining any necessary building permits or approvals (unless agreed otherwise)
  • Clearing work areas of furniture, belongings, or obstacles as needed
  • Making timely decisions on material selections, finishes, and design details
  • Ensuring timely payment according to agreed terms

Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in project delays or additional costs.

  • Modifications or repairs made by third parties after completion
  • Defects in materials supplied by the client or third parties
  • Damage resulting from accidents, natural disasters, or events beyond our control

Materials supplied by us are covered by the manufacturer's warranty where applicable.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nawab Glass Company's liability for any claims arising from our services is limited to the total amount paid by the client for the specific project in question. We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
  • Delays or disruptions caused by factors beyond our reasonable control
  • Pre-existing conditions or defects not identified during initial assessment

We maintain appropriate insurance coverage for our operations and recommend clients maintain their own property insurance.

Cancellation & Termination

Either party may cancel or terminate a project under the following conditions:

  • Clients may cancel before work commences with written notice. Deposits may be non-refundable if materials have been ordered.
  • Clients may request termination mid-project. Payment is due for all work completed and materials purchased up to the termination date.
  • We reserve the right to terminate a project if payment terms are not met or if site conditions become unsafe.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or our services, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be settled in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Changes to Terms
